Rusted Jade Art Collective was dreamt, and created by the husband + wife team, Lenny + Max. Lenny is a tattoo artist that has felt called to create drawings, paintings, + mixed media art since he was little. As he got older, he was completely drawn to the art of tattooing. Combining his love of making art + meeting people, he quickly honed in on his skill, and made this passion a way of life. Lenny loves to make thrifted art from random thrifts, and you will see him around the shop, with his laid back personality, making beautiful high energy tattoos, and teaching a variety of art classes. Max is a wholistic art curator, and found her heart in creating storytelling imagery through her camera lens. Honest photography of the complete human experience and pairing it with the written word is how she creates art, and refers to it as “pictorial poetry”. She dedicates to cultivating a tangible experience for those that see her work. You will see Max around the shop, selling the beautiful custom art pieces from various local artists, she has handpicked for the gallery, creating art shows, events, & workshops, and looking to hang out with you in their community lounge, because she just can’t help herself but want to be your friend! She will be teaching some photography classes and is booking in home + on location photoshoots. Together, this pair has created a collective with the perfect pairing of art, learning, and connecting.
